LORANGER—Senior Thomas Daughdrill won the Loranger 2007 batting title
with an impressive .429 average and seven home runs. Teammates Taylor
Abdalla and Kyle Wheeler were not far behind posting .393 and
.388 averages at the plate. Kyle Wagner and Jesse Dempter
rounded the top five with .338 and .323 percentages respectively.
Adballa led the team in extra base hits with 17, while
Daughdrill totaled the most RBIs at 29 with Wheeler just one behind at 28.
Senior Daniel Washington set the pace for the Wolves in base-running stealing
11 bases on the year.
Pacing the sophomore class was Jake Artigues who hit three
singles, a triple and a home run and collected nine RBIs.
As a team, the Wolves batted .316 and notched 18 home
runs, 85 extra base hits, and averaged six run per contest in
route to an 8-4 district mark and an 18-14 overall.
