basketball game Monday night. Schexnaydre won the honor in one of the closest votes in Bloomer Bowl history winning by just one vote.
Fellow senior maid, Jessica Marlena Coates, finished second in the voting. Sources close to the Coates report that she has no plans to ask for a recount. She has been invited to join Britney Spears on tour later this summer. Ms. Spears made a surprise appearance at the event and Coates performed a song with her.
In the girls’ basketball game, the juniors upset the seniors in a low scoring affair 8-6. Statistics from the game were not available as no one remembers either team scoring a basket at all. Rumor has it that a re-match is in the works.
